Job Description- Deputy Manager / Manager - Information Technology

Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, reaching child care and health services to more than 15,000 children every year, through workplace and community based crèches and daycare centres.

MC pioneered the cause of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and focuses on the young child under six years in urban slums and the migrant child, at construction site. MC’s multi-pronged approach- working with construction worker’s children, urban slum communities training and ECD partnership address both the short and long term needs of children. It is officially recognized as a technical resource by the government and is on the path by scaling up with government and other players in civil society.
As an organization, Mobile Creches adheres to a strict safeguarding policy. All staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, consultants etc. are obliged to be aware of the conditions of this policy, be a signatory to this and follow the norms.

Position Details :
Designation- Deputy Manager Technology / Manager Technology

Level/ Band-
Geographical Location: National Office Reporting to (Position): Sr. Manager IT

Reported By:
Educational Qualifications- Bachelor / Diploma in Computer Science

Salary Range: 40 – 50K

Total work Experience in the relevant field- - Minimum 05 years of experience required in Information technology.

Experience in the social development sector will be an added advantage.

Job Description– Responsibilities included and not limited to the following:
• Maintaining Hardware Software & Networking
• Installation and troubleshooting of standard software.
• Administrating Office 365
• Training & IT Support to all users
• Maintaining Data Backup Regularly
• Handling Major Escalations, Inventory, Asset Management
• ERP implementation and maintenance
• Knowledge of MSBI & SQL Queries for generating report
• Data Management
• Knowledge of PowerApps for developing small applications
• Vendor Management
• Upgradation of Technology and Data Security
• Empowering Workforce

Important key skills required-
• Hardware Knowledge
• System Trouble Shooting
• Network Troubleshoot with LAN Environment
• Installations (Printer, Scanners)
• Knowledge about all internal applications
• Interdepartmental Communication
• Good Communication Skills
• Knowledge about financial transactions
• Time Management
