Skills in English, technology, business, and critical thinking help our graduates navigate the challenges of 21st-century employment in the rapidly changing environment of East Africa.
At Kepler, you receive support to complete both an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University’s online competency-based program, which is fully accredited in the United States.
All of Kepler’s instruction is designed to prepare you to be ready for work immediately after graduation. Professional Competency courses begin in Week 1. Career coaching happens throughout your studies.
From a competency-based degree that you complete at your own pace to advanced short courses that you can choose based on interest, Kepler is customizable so that you can meet your learning goals.
Higher education for all
Kepler is a nonprofit university program based in Africa and designed for the developing world. Our students get the best of online learning paired with in-person seminars — all while students work toward a U.S.-accredited degree and a great job after graduation. Our goal is to create a global network of universities, beginning in Rwanda, that deliver the skills that emerging economies need for a price that all talented students can afford.
Online and Offline
Kepler is pioneering a new way to lower the cost of university while maintaining quality: pair digital content with a team of expert local teachers. Without the need to hire expensive faculty, Kepler is priced for students from all backgrounds.
Kepler’s curriculum is built to help students learn the skills they need to secure a great job after graduating. Internships are required of all students, and we work with local employers to ensure that Kepler’s curriculum is always job relevant.
An American B.A. in Africa
Kepler offers an elite credential to its graduates through a close partnership with Southern New Hampshire University’s innovative College for America program. And the degree they earn is the exact same that a student in the U.S. would receive on graduation.
