The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is more than just a multilateral development bank – it's a visionary institution leading the change towards a more sustainable and connected future. With a mission to finance the Infrastructure for Tomorrow, AIIB is at the forefront of building infrastructure that puts sustainability at the core of every project. Since starting in Beijing in January 2016, AIIB has quickly expanded to include 106 approved members worldwide. With up to USD100 billion in capital, AIIB has been triple-A-rated by major international credit rating agencies. On June 1, 2020, we moved into our permanent headquarters. As a young multilateral organization, this marks an exciting milestone for us as we continue to grow and build operational capacity to serve the needs of our 105 members.
