Job Description- Manager Program Management

Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, reaching childcare and health services to more than 15,000 children every year, through workplace and community-based crèches and daycare centres.

MC pioneered the cause of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and focuses on the young child under six years in urban slums and the migrant child, at construction sites. MC’s multi-pronged approach- working with construction workers’ children, urban slum communities training, and ECD partnership addresses both the short and long-term needs of children. It is officially recognized as a technical resource by the government and is on the path of scaling up with the government and other players in civil society.

Department – Program Strategy and Impact

Position Details

Designation: Manager Program Management

Position Overview: The Manager Program Management at Mobile Creches, based in the National Office in Delhi, will play a pivotal role in grant management, documentation, and reporting across programs under the Program Strategy & Impact department. The Manager Program Management will work closely with various departments within the organization, provide support to seamless collaboration and efficient program implementation.

Level - 4

Reporting to: Executive Director-Programme Strategy & Impact

Age Criteria: Must be in the age group 28-35 years.

Qualifications requirement: bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Public Administration, Development Studies, MBA etc.).

Total work Experience in the relevant field- Proven experience in program management, grant administration, and donor reporting in the non-profit sector with at least 4 to 5 years.

Age Criteria: Must be in the age group 30 to 45 years.

Job Description- Specific areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Grant Management:
• Manage the entire grant lifecycle, from proposal writing and submission to grant closure.
• Monitor grant expenditures, ensuring funds are utilized effectively and in compliance with donor requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of grant-related documents, budgets, and reporting deadlines.
• Cultivate strong relationships with donors and funding partners, understanding their expectations and requirements.

Proposal Development:
• Lead the process of developing high-quality grant proposals in collaboration with program teams and stakeholders.
• Draft compelling proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with donor guidelines.
• Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather relevant information for proposals.

Documentation and Reporting:
• Oversee the documentation of program activities, outcomes, and impact for reporting purposes.
• Prepare comprehensive and persuasive reports for donors, highlighting achievements and progress made through funded projects.
• Ensure timely submission of reports, adhering to donor reporting guidelines and requirements.
• Provide data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness and impact.
