Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the MUKTA team and work closely with the team established to provide technical support to SHGs implementing projects under MUKTA.
• Support the team in developing, reviewing and updating the existing training modules, SOP and guidelines.
• Support the MUKTA professionals to identify and capitalize on innovative experiences in creating the SHG members as nano contractors and bring its lessons to make the scheme robust.
• Link with other departments, lending institutions for various convergence opportunities
• Help prepare frameworks for creating local business environment and identify business opportunities to work as private contractors.
• Support the team in delivering the training, analyzing the data and preparation of presentations.
• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques & preparation of reports.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, urban policy, urban
• management, economics or related field
• Knowledge of relevant contexts in preparation of BoQs, drawings, procurement of construction materials,
• construction techniques, etc.
• Minimum of 3/4 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent coordination skills and result-oriented collaboration with colleagues
• Knowledge of relevant context, issues of livelihood, community participation and urban poverty
• Working experience in a ULB or state government will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in writing and verbal communication in English and Odia, and clarity in communication
• Strong ability to host multi-disciplinary team of experts/consultants & facilitate oral & written communication
• Displays sensitivity and inclusiveness for all gender, religions, race, nationalities and ages.
• Maturity and confidence in dealing with the staff of government institutions.
• Willingness to travel within Odisha and India on need basis.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office suite and data analysis software.
