Manager Business Development and Partnerships

(preferably from the Development Sector or Public Health Sector)

Location – Greater Kailash, New Delhi

The salary range for this position is: (INR 1,00,000 - 2,00,000 per month) depending on qualification and experience.

Job Description:
Manager BD and partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive organisational growth and effectiveness. This role focuses on fostering partnerships, securing funding, providing capacity building, and delivering specialized training to enhance the organization's impact. Business development in identifying suitable business opportunities, identifying appropriate professionals to lead the implementation of the projects, submission of bids within the timeframe and provide support in grounding newly won projects.
Some of the important responsibilities of this position are:

Business Development:
• Develop and strengthen relationships with current and potential donors and partners and help to position the organization for new business development.
• Coordinate between the BD team and the Technical Experts for requirements of Identifying business development opportunities from International and bilateral agencies, as well as Government clients.
• Lead the development and implementation of business development strategies to secure grants, funding, and projects aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
• Analyze RFPs/EoIs issued by donors; assess appropriateness; explore partnership options; and facilitate a process for taking action.
• Engage with key stakeholders including donors, govt. agencies and NGOs to maintain relationships, share organizational successes and explore collaboration opportunities.
• Develop networks and relationships with other consultancy firms, institutions and individuals working in the sectors;
• Collaborate with technical and finance staff in the review of proposal budget submissions to ensure synergy between the technical response, budget response, and solicitation.
• Develop an annual / cost budget and operating plan to support the project. Including monitoring Project costs vs. budget.
• Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
• Search for the details of the donor, country profile, etc. to decide on each opportunity
• Coordination with donors and other stakeholders
• Represent the organization at relevant conferences, events, and meetings to enhance visibility and networking.

Submission of Proposals / EoIs:
• Support bid managers in submitting the final proposal/EoIs
• Develop and upkeep the company credentials for various themes/assignments
• Support the bid managers in day-to-day operational details, EoIs and proposal preparation
• Developing background materials and preparing first draft of technical proposals

Project Management:
• Oversee and manage projects related to BD, Partnerships and Capacity Building to ensure successful implementation and achievement of project objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes and deliverables.
• Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the objectives and the goal of the project.
• Ensuring timely submission of deliverables and invoices.
• Function as a key member of the team and provide required management support in initiating new projects.
• Design, develop and deliver capacity-building programs and training initiatives for staff and stakeholders, focusing on relevant skills and knowledge in the development sector or Public Health.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
• Masters or higher degree in areas of Business Administration, Health Administration, and other related fields
• Extensive knowledge of and networks with various health sector actors and various multi- and bi-lateral donors;
• Minimum 5 years experience in Research, Business Development and Programme Management in Public Health;

Essential Skills
• Excellent Client Management and coordination skills including demonstrated experience of successfully undertaking client negotiations.
• demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing skills
• Should have a sound knowledge of digital learning.
• Good presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information.
• Being pro-active and able to work with a minimum level of supervision.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic teams.
• Fluency in English and ability to deliver the message effectively verbally and in writing.
