The Chief of Party provides vision, leadership, and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention in Lesotho (SECURE) project in Lesotho. The project aims to close gaps to reach and sustain HIV epidemic control through unified approaches to prevention and strengthened community systems. The project will improve uptake of combination HIV prevention services, improve effective coverage of non-discriminatory, person-centered, integrated services, and bolster resilient community systems that sustain quality HIV prevention services. The project will operate over a 5-year period.
The Chief of Party will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of project activities. Will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. The Chief of Party will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID on routine and strategic matters. The Chief of Party will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with the government of Lesotho and key stakeholders at all levels.
This position is contingent upon award from USAID. Lesotho nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Total compensation will be based on the country of hire and Jhpiego’s local compensation plan.
