The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy individual to join our innovative AvaazLite team. This producer role focuses on supporting our WhatsApp campaigning efforts, ensuring reliable service, and expanding our reach to new languages and audiences. You will be at the forefront of testing new approaches in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to engage in both technical setups and creative content production.
This role will involve working closely with campaigners, technical teams, and language leads to ensure seamless campaign execution. You will play a key role in monitoring campaign performance, troubleshooting issues, and continuously optimizing our approach. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategic development of new campaign ideas and help implement innovative solutions to enhance member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Production:
- Set up and manage WhatsApp campaigns, including message sequencing and scheduling.
- Test and refine campaign flows to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with language leads to translate and localize campaign content.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide insights for improvements.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
User-Centric Engagement:
- Respond to member inquiries promptly, providing assistance with donation processes and technical issues.
- Collaborate with the member engagement team to identify and address common issues.
- Engage with members to foster a positive and supportive community experience.
- Develop and maintain FAQs and other support documentation for members.
Content Production:
- Develop and implement new ideas and strategies for campaign content.
- Adapt and produce engaging content tailored to different audiences and languages.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute innovative campaign initiatives.
- Create multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and interactive elements, to enhance campaign messages.
- Conduct research and gather insights to inform content creation and strategy.
Skills and Competencies
- Tech Savviness: Comfortable with setting up complex systems, learning new platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues. Proficiency with digital tools and platforms used for campaign management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to take on various tasks as needed, with a mission-centric approach. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial, as small errors can disrupt campaign setups. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quick Learning: Ability to quickly adapt and learn new platforms and setups. Proactive in seeking out new knowledge and staying updated with industry trends.
- Campaigning: Exposure to campaigning and content production is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and the global community. Ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.
- Creative Thinking: Innovative and creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and impactful campaign content. Ability to think outside the box and propose new ideas for member engagement.
Location
Avaaz is a virtual organization, with most of our work done over email, Gdocs, telephone, and Slack. Our staff are based in cities all over the world. For this position, the candidate needs to be based in either the EMEA region or the eastern time zones of the Americas (North or South).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary varies with location and experience but is highly competitive with leading nongovernmental organizations. The full-package salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000.
