Overview of position |
Under the overall
supervision of Cross Border Post Arrival Humanitarian Assistance (CB-PAHA)
Programme Manager, and under the direct supervision of national Programme Officer,
the Incumbent will assist in the provision of the Post-Arrival Humanitarian
Assistance, including but not limited to the screening and identification of
undocumented vulnerable Afghan migrants at the reception center, registration,
coordination with counterparts, and referral of vulnerable cases for follow-up
assistance in Kabul province.

Role objectives |
Core Functions / Responsibilities:

Assist
in providing post-arrival humanitarian assistance to vulnerable
undocumented Afghans returning from the Türkiye in Kabul province.

Maintaining
and updating all project records and files, reports, and other required
project-related documents in the reception center.
-
Provide
administrative support to Coordinate the CB-PAHA activities, assist to
maintain liaisons with the partner organization and other stakeholders at
the reception center for the smooth implementation of the post-arrival
services.

Assist
in the screening and identification process of the undocumented Afghan
migrants, and make sure verify that eligible and vulnerable Afghans are
selected for post-arrival assistance.

Assist
in administrative tasks as required, such as recording the initial
beneficiaries' information in the Beneficiary Screening and Assistance
form and reporting any issues to the CB-PAHA management.

Provide
beneficiaries with appropriate initial assistance, including refreshments,
hot meals, essential clothing items, and other necessary services at the
reception center.
- Issue the IOM beneficiary cards to the referred undocumented Afghan migrants identified as Persons with Specific Needs (PSNs) for assistance by our client.

Arrange
regular and special transportation arrangements for the PSNs, including
deceased migrants, medical cases, and other exceptional cases, depending
on their needs and case-by-case basis.

Liaise
with suppliers or service providers to contribute to ensure the proper
delivery of services at the reception and transit canter.

Report
Assist to prepare weekly, monthly reports during any emergency, and after
any notable event to the supervisors in Kabul over achievements,
challenges, and identified needs with suggestions from the field.

Ensure Support coordination with other our client program units operating at the reception and canter, including, Protection, and Migration Health Unit.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Political Science, Social Science or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two (2) years of relevant professional experience
or

High School Diploma with four (4) years of relevant professional experience
Experience
-
Experience
in project implementation and evaluation.

Experience working with specialized international agencies (UN Agencies, International Organisations, and International NGOs) and in complex operations, including conflict and post-conflict situations preferred.
SKILLS
-
Knowledge of Afghanistan's complex migration dynamics is required.

Knowledge of humanitarian access negotiation and experience in its implementation is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of the Joint Operating Principles.

Knowledge of data collection and analysis.

Good assessment, analytical and planning skills.

Good Communication skills.
Languages
