Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs - Tetra Tech) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Technical Specialist positions on a potential USAID-funded program in Mozambique. The Renda Verde Activity is anticipated to be a five-year program focused on boosting communities in leveraging the benefits of living in nature across key biodiversity conservation areas ‐ and benefit local people through sharing of nature‐based revenue.
Tetra Tech seeks qualified Mozambican candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
* Forestry
* Biodiversity conservation
* Community Based Natural Resource Management
* Coastal ecosystem adaptation and resilience
* Market systems development
* Institutional strengthening
* Gender, youth, and social inclusion
* Private sector engagement
* Grants management
* Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
* Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting
* Communications
Qualifications:
* University degree or higher in a relevant area of expertise
* Seven (7) years of relevant professional experience supporting development programs or similar technical work in Mozambique or East Africa; experience with USAID/USG projects preferred
* Proven leadership, organizational and writing skills
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Fluency in Portuguese is required; professional fluency in English is an asset
