Overview
The Field Implementation Associate Manager will work closely with the Field Implementation Associate Director to support the Urban Health Initiative project implementation. The Field Implementation Associate Manager will support the Field Implementation Team in reporting, facilitation of field trips, work planning, trackers’ management, and ongoing coordination to ensure a high‐quality program. This Position is Based in Kabul and for Afghan Nationals only.
Responsibilities
- Support the Field Implementation Associate Director in program planning, development and management activities.
- Facilitate the team with the processing of travel requests and keeping the relevant trackers.
- Support the team in monitoring of relevant trackers.
- Assist Field Implementation Associate Director in development of work plans and reporting.
- Assist the Field Implementation Associate Director coordinating with partners as needed and set up/execute ongoing coordination mechanisms.
- Maintain project dashboards, trackers and tools to support the implementation team.
- Providing timely support to the program team for any required coordination, communication and follow up of tasks related to the UHI project units, partners, MoPH and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate submission of partners and program activities reports.
- Assist and facilitate the field implementation team in review of technical and programmatic documents, data review and performance review workshops.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- MD or Bachelor of Public Health from a recognized university, preferably master degree in public health.
- More than 5 years of work experience in public health projects within National and International NGOs.
- Strong Skills, Experience and knowledge in administration and operation of health related projects.
- Interest in public health and desire to learn, create and innovate.
- Results oriented
- Good presentation skills and verbal and written communications skills
- Good skills in facilitation, team building and coordination
- Skilled in use of technology to develop, use and maintain different tools and trackers.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
