1. Project Background

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is looking for motivated and professional individual who will be responsible for overseeing data platform support to ensure they align with organization strategy and business goals, including establishing standardized data platform support methodologies, facilitating communication and collaboration among various departments, and fostering a culture of innovation by identifying emerging trends and exploring new opportunities to enhance data-driven operations and unlock the values from the data assets within the organization.

2. Objectives of the Assignment

AIIB is looking for a motivated and experienced data application validation and BI support who will be responsible for overseeing data applications validation developer and support which includes establishing data application validation detailed criteria that align with business requirements, reviews validation processes, generates regular data validation reports, identifies issues and facilitates issue resolution.

3. Scope of Services

•Data application validation Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders on Business Data Requirements by assisting in identifying and documenting Data Standard and Data validation rules, ensuring alignment with data governance policies. •Data Quality Assurance: Work with business stakeholders to define and refine data definitions and quality rules in Data Standard document and data quality metrics document. •Technical Implementation Support: Support the implementation of data quality metrics and standards by translating data quality rules into technical specifications for ETL processes. •Documentation and Reporting: Collaborate on generating data quality execution reports and remediation plans. Maintain a Data validation Issue Repository to log and monitor issues. Ensure updates to the documents reflecting any changes in definitions or validation rules. •Testing and Validation: Prepare and execute testing related to data quality rules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

4. Consultancy Output / Deliverables

1.Data validation Assurance Framework: Develop and refine comprehensive data validation framework. This framework will serve as a reference for maintaining high data quality across the platform. 2.Documentation of Data validation Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, document, and validate Business Data validation Requirements, including Data Standards and Data validation rules, ensuring they align with established data governance policies. 3.Technical Specifications for ETL Processes: Create detailed technical specifications based on defined data validation rules to support the implementation of data quality metrics and standards within ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration into the data platform. 4.Data validation Reporting and Remediation Plans: Generate regular data validation execution reports that highlight compliance with quality standards, identify issues, and outline remediation plans. Maintain a Data validation Issue Repository to log, monitor, and track resolution of data-related issues. 5.Testing and Validation Protocols: Prepare and execute comprehensive testing protocols related to data validation rules. Ensure that testing aligns with business requirements and effectively validates the integrity of data throughout its lifecycle.

Qualification Requirement

•Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with various stakeholders from Business and IT department, effectively engaging them in data governance practices. •Experience in managing cross-departmental projects with a focus on data governance or related fields. •Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards. •Familiarity with data quality processes and tools. •Experience with SQL or similar data development tools, demonstrating the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively. •A Business Analyst mindset, characterized by strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English being essential. •A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Management, Data Management) or with relevant certifications. •Previous experience in financial services, loan management, or investment management is considered a plus.
