In Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH), in line with its 2021-2025 Country Program, UNDP focuses on sustainable and inclusive growth, people-centered governance and social cohesion. UNDP is fully committed to support BIH with regards to its Agenda 2030 commitments as well as the European Union (EU) accession process. The UNDP Country Program Document for BiH outcomes correspond to three outcomes of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2021-2025 (outcome 1 on resilient, sustainable and inclusive growth, outcome 4 on accountable and transparent governance systems, and outcome 5 on social cohesion and trust).
Under the direct guidance and supervision of the Head of Admin Unit, this part time, on-call position is responsible for performing various interrelated upkeep services at the UN House, ensuring high quality and accuracy of work. The Logistics Clerk works in close collaboration with the Head of Admin Unit and Admin Unit Team, Program and projects staff in the CO and other UN agencies staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery.
Scope of Work
- Executing various services related to the upkeep and maintenance of the UN House;
- Arranging the setup of conference rooms, ensuring proper configuration of chairs and tables for meetings, workshops, and events;
- Logistic support related to setting up /moving of furniture, equipment and office supplies;
- Supporting the collection of information and tracking of office furniture and equipment to facilitate efficient allocation;
- Physical maintenance of the UN House archive according to Agency / project requirements;;
- Coordinating with the UN House maintenance and external contractors to ensure timely resolution of reported issues;
- Performing small repairs of fixtures and equipment.
The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for functioning of the Office.
Institutional Arrangement
Logistics Clerk will work under the direct guidance and supervision of the Head of Admin Unit.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Secondary Education;
- Valid Driver’s license;
- 2 years' work experience in logistics and building maintenance;
- Experience in event planning processes and logistics
- Experience in loading, unloading, and storing equipment and files safely
- Experience in property maintenance
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates integrity by modelling the UN’s values and ethical standards
