Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to identify and develop new business and funding opportunities. You will play a proactive and strategic role in achieving Action For Humanity’s objectives by developing new and existing partnerships. This includes building strong relationships with stakeholders across the public, private, and third sectors in Türkiye to secure funding, raise awareness, and promote the organization’s work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain profitable partnerships with new and existing donors,
• Identify and cultivate growth opportunities in Türkiye,
• Proactively manage budgets, monitor, and report on institutional and corporate partnerships, as well as high-net-worth individual income generation to ensure income targets are met,
• Research and identify potential prospects to support informed decision-making,
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with Action For Humanity’s mission,
• Lead the program and proposal design processes for institutional funding opportunities,
• Increase the visibility of the Action For Humanity brand in Türkiye,
• Create and deliver compelling proposals and pitches tailored to potential donors and opportunities,
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth donors in Türkiye.

Requirements:
Education:

• A strong secondary school education is required. A degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred. A Master’s degree in humanitarian studies, international development, or a related field is desirable.

Experience:

• Prior experience implementing projects in Türkiye and a deep understanding of Turkish culture,
• Proven experience in successful fundraising and strategy development and implementation,
• Experience in building and managing client relationships and contracts,
• Demonstrated experience in achieving income targets,
• Proven track record of establishing new business strategies, models, and processes with excellent results,
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Languages:

• Fluent written and spoken Turkish (essential),
