Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of Treasury Analyst is assigned to the Funding Division (TDFD) within the Treasury Department (TD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to Assistant Treasurer, TDFD, and designated International Staff and Officer.

Your Role

As a Treasury Analyst, you will (i) provide analytical and coordination support on funding transactions, such as new borrowings and swap transactions, budget administration and other division activities of TDFD and (ii) assist and coordinate preparation of different reports for compliance and filing requirements.

You will:

  • Provide diverse support to the Assistant Treasurer and Technical International and Technical Local staff.
  • Prepare the weekly TDFD Management Report, draft memos, and maintain funding transaction data.
  • Help prepare presentation materials and coordinating travel for investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring liquidations and back-to-office reports (BTORs).
  • Prepare counterparty briefing notes for different TDFD-related meetings, ensuring accurate information.
  • Monitor and process borrowing-related invoices, ensuring approval and payment.
  • Coordinate meetings and visits by rating agencies, and support budget review by analyzing requirements related to business travel, staff consultants, representation, overtime, and other administrative expenses.
  • Update the division's Roadshow Database to ensure accurate information.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned and reflected in your workplan.

Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and strong collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications; with sound knowledge of common word-processing, spreadsheets and graphics software used in multilateral organizations
  • Knowledge, experience, and understanding of the Treasury Department’s function and purpose including standard formats and procedures used in the performance of the division’s work.
  • Capability to work independently and exercise judgment on matters of confidentiality and those requiring urgent attention especially in the supervisor's absence
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and processes.
