Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Head of RCO or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN Volunteer will support the following tasks:
• Collects, prepares and systematically updates information material (fact sheets, backgrounders, data tables), briefings, and presentations, in coordination with the HoRCO;
• Drafts briefing notes, meeting minutes, written summaries speeches and talking points, including communication to inform UN Country Team meetings.
• Supports RCO communication (both internal and external) efforts and facilitates communication and information flow between RC/RCO and UNCT;
• Contributes to maintaining partner mapping tools and platforms to support information-sharing and enhance transparency in development cooperation.
• Monitor trends in international development and identify opportunities for
strengthened cooperation and joint initiatives among stakeholders
• Translates documents and correspondence as needed/required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provides events management, logistical and operational support to upcoming events, meetings, incl. registration and provision of logistical coordination for the various other meetings.
• Performs other duties that may be required by the supervisor.
