Background of the project 

The International Rescue Committee’s North office, located in Deir Dalloum, is undergoing changes in its size and is requesting administrative support to sort its files and archives. The need for this service is to ensure adequate filing of existing documents, and disposal of documents who have exceeded donor and organizational requirements. 

Scope of work

  • Create Index or Registry for all existing office archives.

  • Sort department archives based on IRC and donor requirements.

  • Fill out index of archives and share with Field Coordinator.

  • Highlight archives that require disposing, in coordination with Field Coordinator.

  • Share weekly progress reports with Field Coordinator.

  • Work closely with Admin and Facilities Management Unit in the North office to move files to the newly planned archive room in the office.

  • Liaise with other departments in the office for files verification to determine status (disposal or archiving).

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an NGO.

  • Organization and time management skills.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

  • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and make decisions.

  • Team player.

  • Ability to work in stressful environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Willing to Follow IRC’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct, IRC Way, and Safeguarding Policies.

Working Schedule:  5 days per week, 8 hours per day (including a 1-hour break).

Project Duration: Until 31 December 2025.
