- Collect data in the specified template (checklist) provided by MEAL Unit.
- Travel to Ghormach district and monitor CBE classes.
- Conduct FGDs and key informant interviews with beneficiaries as needed.
- Conduct spot-checks, PDMs and CSS in the targeted districts as needed.
- Travel to the field(districts) /villages as assigned and conduct interviews.
- Follow and implement guidance/instruction provided by MEAL Officer supervisor.
- Perform any other necessary tasks assigned by MEAL Officer supervisor.
- Desirable - Working with highly vulnerable and displaced people would be added advantage.
- Good verbal communication skills in local languages and working knowledge of English.
- Most importantly, commitment to IRC values and principles.
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with groups of diverse background.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, business administration or any other related fields.
- 1 years of experience in MEAL & data collection specifically FGD, KII and HH surveys, spot-checks, PDMs, and CSS.
- Familiarity with MEAL data collection tool including KOBO, CommCare…
- Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English
- Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background
