KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Assist in processing financial and administrative tasks to support effective and timely management of Supply Chain resources.
2. Support invoice management for Supply Chain—primarily CBT-Retail—by receiving, reviewing, analysing, and submitting invoices to the Finance Unit.
3. Process data entry requests in WFP’s corporate systems, coordinating with relevant personnel to address any discrepancies. Organize and maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with WFP procedures to ensure efficient information retrieval and compliance with audit requirements.
4. Support the maintenance of regular sales data from contracted retailers and carry out basic analysis of commodity-wise sales volumes to inform operational planning and market performance assessments.
Support the implementation of weekly and monthly price monitoring activities, ensuring timely collection, validation, and entry of price data to facilitate negotiation analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
5. Enter accurate and timely data in corporate systems within established deadlines.
6. Provide basic analytical inputs for tracking fund utilization, grant balances, and progress indicators, flagging discrepancies to the supervisor to support effective decision-making.
7.Prepare, collate, and route relevant documents required for approvals, releases, and internal coordination in accordance with established procedures.
8. Schedule meetings and support logistical arrangements for the unit, including coordination of vehicle allocation and communication with the Fleet Unit to ensure timely deployment of transport resources.
9. Respond to queries and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely and accurate service delivery to stakeholders.
10. Perform any other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Completion of University Degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) is required. Education in any relevant subject is preferred.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Data Management or in any related field. Good technical skill in Ms. Excel is preferable.
Language: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.
