Unit Context: 
The WBG Corporate Solutions Department (ITSCO) is focused on the digital transformation of essential corporate services to ensure WBG operations are seamless, resilient, and future ready. Uniting digitalization roadmaps, experience design, process optimization, application delivery, systems management, and technology modernization across some 170 products and services, the department links business ambition with operational excellence—from intuitive employee experiences and precision payroll to data-driven decision making, intelligent automation, and AI enablement. The Corporate Business Solutions (ITSCB) unit oversees vital corporate systems such as personnel administration, benefits, tax, pension, health services, and other essential corporate services. These operations—and their supporting platforms—demand uncompromising accuracy, confidentiality, and resilience, operating in environments where reliability is non negotiable. This role is for the Personnel, Benefits, and Health team which is responsible for core personnel lifecycle, employee compensation, health, and benefits management for the WBG's global workforce.  
Duties and accountabilities:
• Contributes to technical design, development, and implementation of WBG Benefits solutions and initiatives.

• Performs feasibility analysis and supports solution design and integration efforts.

• Partners with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define technical specifications.

• Leads small projects or workstreams, providing technical direction as needed.

• Develops, configures, and tests solutions, including code reviews and test plan contributions.

• Supports production systems, including monitoring, maintenance, and on-call support.

• Provides documentation, user training, and technical guidance/mentorship to team members.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example, in the IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience)

• Experience designing and implementing integrated HCM solutions.

• Strong technical and functional expertise in WBG benefits.

• Proven problem-solving skills and experience in code reviews and solution architecture.

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing custom solutions across diverse technologies.

• Strong drive for innovation, continuous learning, and optimization.

• Effective communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
