Digital Solutions (ITSDS)
  
The Digital Solutions team delivers modern productivity, collaboration, and endpoint solutions to over 30,000 users. We support Microsoft 365, WebEx, Power Platform, and AI tools like Copilot, Google Gemini, and Grammarly, while engineering, deploying, and supporting Windows Endpoints. We are a collaborative, customer-focused team committed to solving problems with reliable, impactful technology.
Duties and accountabilities: 
Role Overview 
The Associate Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing Windows Endpoints through the implementation of robust systems. This role is focused on supporting and promoting service quality and consistency across endpoint environments. Key responsibilities include executing initiatives that engineer endpoint management systems and related processes, all with the goal of enhancing the overall user experience. 

Additionally, the Associate Infrastructure Engineer serves as a technical authority, overseeing the endpoint management operations both for physical and virtual machines. When complex issues arise, the role is responsible for escalating them appropriately to ensure prompt resolution. Facilitating knowledge sharing within the team is also a core aspect of the position, enabling the development of team capabilities and sustaining operational excellence.  
 
Duties & Responsibilities: 

Experience Support Operations 

• Oversee and engineer Windows endpoint management solutions to ensure reliable access to workplace technologies and systems. Resolve complex issues and provide expert technical guidance. 

Service Improvements and Innovation 

• Drive service improvements by identifying systemic issues and implementing sustainable solutions.   Defines and execute the endpoint Management product's operations and third tier support. 

• Reviews and manages comprehensive documentation of product features and user stories  

• Participates in sprint planning and reviews to ensure timely product delivery  

Collaborate and Partner Across IT Functions: 

Team Development: 


• Strengthen team collaboration through knowledge sharing. Act as a technical resource and role model for best practices.
 
Desired Technical Skills: 

Expertise in 

• Design, Plan and Implement Windows Endpoint Management systems (inTune, SCCM, OSD, Device Provisioning, App deployment, vulnerability management). 

• Develop various vulnerability management processes and oversee implementation. 

• Designs and develops automated solutions for OEM device driver management across multiple vendors (e.g., Dell and Lenovo) to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Manages endpoint operations and operating system upgrades across virtual desktop environments, including Citrix, Azure, and Windows 365, with a focus on critical business systems.

• Oversees self-service application administration to maintain an optimal, reliable, and seamless experience for end users.

• Ensure the reliability and operations of Windows Endpoint Management Platforms like SCCM/inTune. 

• Proficiency with SQL Reporting and PowerBI dashboards. 

• Expert PowerShell/Python scripting and automation techniques using Azure. 

• Entra ID / Active Directory User & Computer Management and GPOs 

• Define, refine and prioritize product features and ensure teamwork aligns with strategic priorities 

• Advanced technical skills include knowledge of ITIL, network and system architecture, configuration management, IT consulting, change management, and continuous improvement. 

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud offerings and virtualization.  

Selection Criteria

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example in IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with min 1 year of related work experience).

• 3+ years of hands-on Windows Endpoint management experience

• Scripting skills in Powershell

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Desired Certifications  


• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)

• ITIL 4 Foundation
