1. Project Background

The Bank is continuing to strengthen its Data Management capabilities to support improved data quali...ty, transparency, accountability, and effective use of data for business and reporting purposes.An formal Data Management function is in place and responsible for implementation of the overall data governance framework and strategic direction. As data volumes, AI usage, and business demands increase, additional capacity is required to support day-to-day data management activities, address data-related issues, maintain data, reporting assets.To support these needs, the Bank intends to engage an Individual Consultant – Data Management to assist the Data Management team by sharing operational workload, supporting ongoing initiatives, and contributing to the smooth execution of data management, data quality, and reporting-related activities.

2. Objectives of the Assignment

1. Provide operational and execution support to the existing Data Management function.2. Execut...e and coordinate data-related issues and requests in line with defined governance procedures and decision pathways.3. Assist with project-style coordination of data management and reporting activities.4. Support the maintenance and improvement of Bank-wide data management artefacts and processes.5. Facilitate clear understanding of roles and responsibilities to support implementation of data governance across business units, IT, vendors, and Data Governance.

3. Scope of Services

Operating as part of the Data Management function, the Consultant will implement and maintain approv...ed data governance requirements through day-to-day execution of data management activities, including but not limited to:1. Data Governance Framework Implementation & Artefact Maintenance• Apply approved data governance framework and guidelines in day-to-day operations.• Maintain and update governance artefacts (glossary, dictionary, lineage, repositories) in line with approved guidelines.• Support business units in embedding governance requirements into operational workflows.2. Operational Coordination & Delivery Support• Coordinate with business units, IT teams, and vendors to support operational execution of data governance.• Facilitate execution and resolution of approved data issues.• Provide hands-on Data Management support across SDLC and reporting processes.3. Data Quality Control Execution & Issue Management• Implement and operate approved DQ controls and rules.• Monitor performance against approved thresholds.• Report, investigate, coordinate, and remediate data quality issues in line with governance criteria.4. Data Governance Platform Administration & Operational Maintenance• Configure, administer, and maintain the Data Governance Platform within approved design parameters.• Provide user support and implement approved configuration updates.5. Data Management Reporting & Activity Monitoring• Provide periodic reporting on operational activities, control execution, remediation progress, and platform usage metrics.• Preparing and supporting presentations for operational and governance forums, including Data Working Groups and committees

Qualification Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Engineering, or a related field.2. Minimu...m 5-6 years of relevant experience in data management, data governance, reporting, or related areas.3. Experience supporting data-related initiatives, projects, or operational activities.4. Good understanding of data governance and data management concepts, consistent with recognized frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and/or EDM Council DCAM.5. Ability to interact with stakeholders to collect and implement data quality rules, controls, and lifecycle concepts,6. Experience working with data warehouses, reporting environments, and relational databases.7. Intermediate SQL skills and familiarity with ETL concepts and tools (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Pentaho).8. Familiarity with data governance or metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Erwin etc.).9. Ability to work effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders in a support and coordination role.
