Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Cambodia

Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Cambodia

ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Manger for an anticipated USAID-funded Feed the Future Project in Cambodia. The project’s primary focus is to improve food security through enhanced agricultural development and rational management of natural resources and to in directly support local procurement reform, science and technology and innovation, strengthening monitoring and evaluation. Possible start date is January 2016 and this key position is subject to ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program.


  • Guide the technical direction of the M&E approach and strategy; oversee and coordinate work related to monitoring and evaluation activities of the project
  • Oversee impact analysis in the areas of agricultural productivity, market systems development and investment facilitation
  • Prepare and conduct trainings on monitoring and evaluation topics for staff and project clients
  • Ensure M&E is utilized and managed properly
  • Coordinate M&E activities with local and international partners
  • Build the capacity of local organizations to be effective in knowledge management and learning
  • Apply GIS tools to improve decision-making and management for results.


  • Bachelor’s degree in evaluation, public policy, and/or related field is required.
  • 10 years of progressive professional experience, some of which is in Southeast Asia, in monitoring and evaluation of international development projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with private sector, civil society and government sectors on monitoring and evaluation programs,
  • Knowledge of different M&E tools, approaches, and methods in addition to experience working with grant making organizations, is desirable.
  • Working experience in training, coaching and mentoring teams in monitoring-related techniques and methods is desirable.
  • Knowledge of GIS tools is desirable
