Consultancy: Integrated WASH and Gender Analysis
Oxfam Syria Programme is seeking a researcher to conduct an integrated gender and WASH analysis; the overall goal of the study is to
- Assess the gendered impact of the Syrian Conflict on women, men, boys and girls across our intervention areas and their distinct needs and vulnerabilities in relation to WASH.
- Critically examine the changing gendered roles, access to, control over resources as well as perspectives, capacities and constrains relatively towards each other in accessing WASH services.
- Critically examine the gendered threats and risk related to accessing WASH services and the coping strategies adopted in meeting their basic WASH needs
- Identify specific measures to prevent, mitigate and respond to Gender Based Violence and vulnerabilities caused by gender inequality pre-conflict and protracted conflict.
