Medical Warehouse Manager (Turkish National)

Antioch (Syria) | Ankara

The primary function of the Medical Warehouse manager is to manage the reception, warehousing and distribution of health commodities in the main warehouse. The person will be IMC focal point to liaise with Turkish MoH for pharmaceutical WH registration, authorization extensions and managing the visits from departments of health. The candidate will contribute to the success of the team and the organization being responsible on leading warehouse team, adopting the best practices of products stocking and distribution. The essential duties for this position will be as following:

  • Receive all medications, medical supplies and equipment in the main warehouse and prepare all related documents accordingly

  • Work in coordination with the medical warehouse team to prepare the records for the received items (Bin cards, stock cards and ledger)

  • Follow all IMC warehouse stock management policies, procedures and manuals.

  • Prepare regular stock analysis and manage stock accuracy

  • Ensure timely preparation and shipping of kits and packages of health commodities

  • Work in coordination with logistics to maintain and improve drug warehousing standards

  • Conduct quality checks on medical commodities according to IMC standards and ensure compliance with Turkish MoH rules and regulations for medical warehouse

  • Track expiry dates for all pre-prepared kits

  • Supervise monthly inventory, cyclic inventory and annual inventory for health commodities

  • Schedule and conduct regular IMAT

  • Mentoring and coaching staff, to ensure continuous improvements are being made

  • Adapts innovative logistical solutions to changing conditions, improves processes, and services

  • Recruits and manages team members by providing guidelines and a framework for operations conforming to strict standards for technical performance.

  • Attend, participate and contribute at team meetings


  • University degree in pharmacy with a license to practice pharmacy in Turkey

  • Must have at least 1 to 2 years’ experience working in managing medical Warehouse

  • Must be good in written and spoken English and Turkish

  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Must be able to work extra time on weekends and evenings when required

  • Must have the ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

  • Must respect and follow IMC policies and procedures
