As Systems Accountant, you will be a part of the Planning and Analysis team within Group Finance, and report to the Head of Planning and Analysis.
The role will maintain and develop the Group Reporting and Consolidation system (SAP-BPC). This will include responsibility for system management and ensuring that it is reliable and continuously improved to meet the operational needs of Plan’s worldwide users. Data maintenance which involves uploading data to systems or supervising uploads using controlled processes, including to the SAP integrated projects, grants and finance system
You will also be responsible for ensuring SAP BPC is effectively administered, particularly supporting and training end users of SAP systems. Key to the role will be managing BPC upgrades, systems patches and enhancements, ensuring they are delivered on budget and on schedule. Initial priorities will be upgrading BPC to version 10.
The role will be responsible for line management of the Systems and Data maintenance Accountant.
Do you have what it takes?
In order to succeed in this challenging and varies role you will require experience of SAP BPC, implementing changes to OLAP database, including managing upgrades, and advanced knowledge of EXCEL.
Working knowledge of SAP BI (Business Objects) and SAP Netweaver is also required.
Beyond technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have project management skills, line management experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with finance and non-finance members of staff.
