The position: Under the rotating supervision of ACF International General Directors gathered in the IEC (International Executive Committee), you will define and supervise the institutional fund raising strategy and the plan of action to meet ACF’s program needs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Elaborate ACF institutional fund raising strategy and plan of action

• Produce a yearly market analysis of ACF current Institutional Donors

• Prospect new funding sources and anticipate way of accessing these funds

• Produce ACF positioning plan toward donors in coordination with concerned directors and managers in head office to ensure its compatibility with internal policies and processes

• Support Donors Relation Officers/Managers by producing donors engagement and financing plan

• Produce an institutional fund raising POA

Manage the Donor Relation Unit team

• Design an optimum team for ACF international donors cooperation

• Coordinate the unit action with donors relation teams existing in other HQ

• Conduct appraisal and provide staff development for team members

Coordinate and manage institutional fund raising plan

• Coordinate with concerned Directors and Managers in different head offices to mobilize necessary resources, tools and expertise to fulfill the POA

• Initiate operational partnership & consortium in cooperation with the Operations department

• Liaise with ACF stakeholders to ensure coherent and efficient ways of working with donors

Represent and liaise with key institutional donors representatives and stakeholder events

Develop an extensive network of relation in order to:

• Prospect and initiate new funding sources

• Negotiate the best possible funding terms for operations

• Help solving potential disagreements

• Defend ACF humanitarian positioning and ensure an efficient contract management

Qualification and previous experiences:

You hold a Master or a MBA in Business Management or equivalent and have an 8-year professional experience. You have evolved in positions linked to institutional donors’ management with high responsibilities in fund raising and negotiations with donors. A 2-year experience on the field in a humanitarian context is also required. With a high leadership potential and a strong capacity to negotiate with different stakeholders, you are recognized for your ability to produce strategic-oriented documents and for developing efficient activities framework. You have knowledge in finance and risk management, and are able to handle pressure and conflict management. Innovation foster, you are eager to encourage and promote change. Fluent English and French (verbal and written) are required. The position requires frequent travels.
