Orthotist-prosthetist

Your task

This position involves supervising the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses, providing technical and clinical support to national personnel working in P&O projects, providing support in the management of physical rehabilitation activities, setting up new P&O centres.

Selection requirements

• Ideal age: 25 to 45
• Prepared to accept unaccompanied postings "(i.e. no spouse, partner, children or dependents) for the first two missions (minimum 12 months each)
• Excellent command of English; French an asset
• Recognized training as an orthotist-prosthetist (ISPO Cat.1 or equivalent)
• At least three years' professional experience in the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses
• Humanitarian field experience an asset
• Driving licence (for manual transmission vehicles)
