Provide administrative assistance to Senior Management Team (SMT)
Who are we?
DRC is an International non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. The overall objective for DRC in Turkey is the protection and promotion of durable solutions to displacement affected populations on the basis of humanitarian principles and human rights. DRC Turkey works in Hatay, Kilis, Urfa, and Maras funded by international donors including ECHO, USAID, DANIDA, and UN.
About the Job
DRC is looking for an Administration Assistance Officer for its program in Turkey. In close cooperation with the HoFA, the Administration Assistance Officer is responsible for;
Position’s Overall Objectives:
·Drafting and preparation of letters, or any other correspondences with Ministries and other Governmental Authorities in Turkey in relations to SMT requirements.
·Attend SMT meetings and ensure the meetings are documented and minutes are circulated to all concerned team members.
·Travel with Country Director and Head of Programs, when required to attend meetings.
·Ensure to keep an up-to-date schedule of SMT members and their travel plans.
·Prepare all travel arrangements for SMT members and external visitors (HQ, Regional HQ, donors, partners, etc.), ensuring the hotel bookings, providing information about meeting venues, and other arrangements.
·Develop and maintain well organized filing system for correspondence, and other related admin tasks that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information.
·Translation of official correspondences from Turkish to English or vice versa.
·Ensure the preparation of management and administrative documents as required by DRC procedures.
·Maintain updated information and tracking list for expats residency, and visa status.
·Assist in paying DRC premises utility bills on regular basis (Gas, water, telephone bills, electricity etc.) for office and guesthouses.
·Keep the contact list up to date on a monthly basis.
·Payments of hotel bookings in Ankara.
·Any other tasks assigned by SMT members.
·Be willing to work on weekends when requested.
·To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
·Master degree in accounting & finance, preferably CPA or part qualified CPA.
·At least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
· Two to three years of experience in office management or support services.
· Ability to speak fluent English and write reports in English.
·One year experience workings with INGO, preferred.
·Strong communication skills.
·Flexibility to travel in-country at short notice.
·Good command of both written and spoken English & Turkish

DRC will offer the successful applicant a 1 year contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work ASAP and be willing and able to work in Antakya.
We offer a fair compensation package depending on your qualification and experiences as well as additional allowances such as relocation allowance and living allowances, if applicable. DRC Turkey is income tax exempted.
