Chief of Party - Reinforcing the fight against tuberculosis in Guinea
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.
Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.
We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.
We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.
Plan International is currently implementing a grant in Guinea to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
As Chief of Party you will lead and oversee all aspects of this high-profile project, including directing strategic planning and decision making, providing technical guidance, coordinating and managing programmatic and financial aspects of the grant in accordance with approved documents and managing the activities of sub-recipients.
You will collaborate with a number of influential stakeholders as a strategic technical partner in the grant implementation process, as well as managing a motivated and high performing program team.
In order to succeed in this challenging and varied role you possess significant experience in the management of complex health projects, particularly tuberculosis and other public funded health programs.
You will be skilled in report preparation and strategic performance analysis and be able to develop and monitor a dynamic partnership with organizations of civil society and decentralized government agencies and services.
Experience of supply chain processes are advantageous.
Hands-on experience with managing Global Fund grants would be considered an advantage.
