We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who can fit the position of Capacity Building Coordinatorin DRC Bekaa Office 
 
Who are we? 
Danish refugee council has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.  
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job 
To support the development of capacity building protection tools for Community based organizations and refugees delivering psychosocial support activities.  Additionally, to build the project management capacities of the Bekaa protection team 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
• Develop and roll-out project management tools including benchmarks/milestones and a supervisory framework and tool kit for all DRC’s protection programmes (PSS activities for women, men, girls and boys, community based committees, protection monitoring) 
• Review DRCs community based approach tools, make amendments where needed, including the development of benchmarks/milestones for handover of PSS and case management activities to partners and refugee focal points, and provide training and on the job coaching to that end 
• Provide training and on the job coaching to staff on the revised community based approach tools 
• Review DRCs protection partner training package and amend where necessary to ensure it is a comprehensive document with a module format 
• Support the implementation of DRCs protection partner training via on the job-coaching to DRC staff 
• Support the Capacity Building Officer in developing capacity building plans for local protection partners and community focal points 
• Support the Protection Coordinator in developing other tools and guidance documents as needed.   
• Support the Area Protection Manager in developing capacity development plans for protection team. 
 
About you 
To be successful in this role you must have 5 years of experience in managing protection related projects,

Moreover we also expect the following: 
Required qualifications 
• Bachelor degree in Social science, Humanities, Social Work, Community Development or Psychology 
• Development of protection related training tools,  
• Delivery of protection trainings and on the job coaching 
• 2-3 years of humanitarian experience in an protracted crisis context

We offer 
DRC will offer the successful applicant a 7-month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from 1st February 2017 and be willing and able to work in Bekaa.
