We are looking for an experienced Consultant to conduct a Stress Management Training for our offices in the MENA region 
 
Who are we? 
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, independent, humanitarian organization working on all aspects of the refugee cause in more than thirty countries throughout the world. The aim of DRC is to protect refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) against persecution and to promote durable solutions to the problems of forced migration on the basis of humanitarian principles and human rights. 
 
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for over a decade, running a combination of emergency, protection, livelihoods and shelter programmes through Country Offices in Libya/Tunisia, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey with the support of the Regional Office in Amman. DRC has 17 offices and approximately one thousand staff members across the MENA region. 
 
About the job 
DRC MENA Regional Office is looking for an individual trainer or training company to provide two days training on Stress Management for a group of 30 staff members from different country offices, who can further conduct similar trainings for colleagues in their respective offices. As a result of training participants should become knowledgeable about the nature of stress, its management and prevention, be able to apply this knowledge to recognize stress in self and others and be able to conduct 2-2.5 hours stress management training for peers upon return to home organizations. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
Based on the enclosed ToR the main objectives of the training are:  
a. For the first part - 1 full day training: 
1. Be able to discuss stress (Day to day stress, Cumulative stress, Critical incident stress, etc.) and stress reactions (How and why the body responds to stressful situations), 
2. Be able to discuss and practice coping strategies,  
3. Be able to discuss what staff care might look like at work, and suggest coping strategies 
b. For the second part – 1 full day training of trainers: 
1. Be able to conduct introductory stress management training for peers 
 
Deliverables 
1. Deliver a two days training for participants, that will include 1 day training on Stress Management and 1 day Training of Trainers.  
2. Develop a 2- 2.5 hours training module on Stress Management Introduction that will be used further by participants to run trainings for their peers 
3. Develop pre and post assessment questionnaires to evaluate participants knowledge at the beginning and end of the training 
4. Submit final report of the training that will include observations from training and recommendations to DRC for future follow-up activities.

3. Outline of the training mentioning objectives, schedule and methodology 
4. Detailed budget of the training that will include trainer’s fee, flight costs (if applicable), etc. Please note that DRC will provide training venue and accommodation for trainer (if applicable).
