1. Support the rendering of the services in compliance with the contractual agreements:
Assist in determination of operational feasibility of changes by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions;
Document and demonstrate changes and solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code;
Review and asses existing field mission applications within the internal certification process;
Support and participate in the implementations of new systems, including data migration;
2. Follow the established operating procedures in support of the goals:
Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
Protect operations by keeping information confidential;
Develop training materials, operating and user manuals;

Work closely with different teams, developers, tester and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
Participate in the support of software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle;
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues;
Assist with regular reporting on development activities and related statistics;
4. Take active part in the definition and evolution of practices and procedures:
Improve operations by conducting analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures;
Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in the field and determine potential impacts on the quality management of the systems;

Education:
Advanced University degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Technology or in a related field. A first level university degree in a related field with a combination of two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of progressively professional experience in system analysis, business process engineering and change management.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in best practices for implementation of enterprise software solutions, in analyzing information, in software development lifecycle, in software requirements, in service management and support.
In-depth understanding of ICT principles and industry standards and the implementation of these procedures in a large heterogeneous environments is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in coordinating the implementation, operations and maintenance of complex information systems.
A minimum of 1 year of practical experience with interactive systems is required.
ITIL certification or PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certifications are desirable.
Language:
For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is an advantage.
