Background:

NRC is operating in Iraq since 2010 to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable people affected by on-going conflict in the region. It has its country office in Erbil, KR-I and has area offices in Baghdad, Dohuk, Erbil and Kirkuk. 

NRC national program strategy for 2016 takes a whole of Iraq approach focusing on CCCM, WASH, Shelter, Education, Emergency Cash modalities, housing and land property (HLP) and Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA). In 2016, NRC will continue to consolidate operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KR-I) by providing care and maintenance facilities in IDPs camps, strengthening the relevant government authorities and building systems more at community levels as opposed to household level for successful exit, while also considerably scaling up operations in the South-Central regions of Iraq (with focus on the Anbar and Baghdad Governorates). A further priority will be to reach populations in harder to access areas through working with implementing national partners, established community network contacts and UN-led Rapid Response Mechanisms (RRM). Target caseload will be people affected by displacement including IDPs in camps, IDPs outside of camps, host communities, returnees and refugees. 

 

Overview:

The purpose of Agresso Officer position is day to day implementation of the support functions responsibilities. The Agresso Officer is responsible for the troubleshooting and training user on the agresso system tasks in NRC Iraq. The position is based in Country Office, Erbil. Agresso Officer cooperate with Area Managers (AMs), HR, Logistics, Finance, ICT Managers, Coordinators, Programme and other Support functions. Agresso Officer will be reporting to:

Head of Support in Country Office.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A university graduate in relevant field with experience from working as an Agresso Officer in humanitarian and recover/context. The candidate ideally should have previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. The candidate should have documented results related to the position responsibilities. The candidate should have Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.

 

Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.

Support NRC’s agresso HR/procurement/finance systems processes in NRC Iraq and the implementation of the modules in new NRC office.

Provide users support and troubleshooting which includes on-line support, password resets, user administration, user rights management, account amendments & workflow management.

Contribute and develop agresso support/service desk as a support service in NRC Iraq to meet needs and gaps in the other departments. Develop these areas according to NRC finance and logistics policies and procedures.

Ensure that data storage (physical and electronic) is secure and that beneficiary records and financial data is adequately protected.

Provide input for improvements/updates to existing policies and procedures and recommendations for new guidance and Standard of Procedures (Standard Operation Procedures) SOPs. 

 

Qualifications

University degree in relevant field

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in operations and management.

Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic language and basic fluency in English

Advanced computer skills, especially in Word and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft project is preferable

 

The post will be for 12 months duration with possibility of extension

Salary/benefits: 2,535,366 IQD gross salary with health insurance.
