Place in the Organisation
The incumbent of this post reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for processing loan applications and performing administrative functions within the set guidelines and procedures.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:
· Enters loan applications data using the applicable management Information System; maintains, modifies and updates loans and client’s data including legal cases;
· Reviews and checks data to verify precision: informs his/her supervisor of discrepancies and makes the required corrective action as instructed;
· Inquires and generates reports, statistical information and tabular statements; makes copies and distributes as per the disbursement process and procedures;
· Maintains master copies of forms, loan agreements, distribution lists and follows up on their update as necessary;
· Maintains the archiving system including ensuring security and easy retrieval of information and forms;
· Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
· Successful completion of a two-year post-secondary diploma in business and office practice, computer science or other related discipline.
· A minimum of two years of experience in data entry and processing in a computerized environment.
· Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.

· Excellent knowledge of MS-Office Access and other databases;
· Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload;
· Attention to detail;
· Ability to organize and plan own work;
· Knowledge of business ethics.
EQUIVALENCY
When the minimum requirements are not fully met, the Field Director of UNRWA Operations may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.
NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.
