Job description

  • Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures
  • Conduct quality control and provide technical support to NRC’s contractors and implementing partners
  • Monitor the implementation of research projects with implementing partner or contractor (plan of action activities, budget and project documentation)
  • Prepare periodic progress reports and other relevant documents
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments within CC
  • Promote and share ideas for technical improvement
  • Support and Monitor both outsourced and internal research projects.
  • Data collection, data analysis, report writing for internal research projects.
  • Conduct evidence-based advocacy and research dissemination activities.
  • Present research findings in different clusters
  • Coordinate and conduct data collection for research projects
  • Collate all NRC assessment data, produce synthesis reports, submit to clusters and other stakeholders
  • Ensure quality assurance of outsourced research projects during the data collection and data analysis phases

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within technical expertise area in a humanitarian context
  • Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Research Method expertise and presentation/dissemination skills
  • Data Management and Data analysis knowledge is required
  • Proficiency in use of SPSS software is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct protection assessment report
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
