Consultant RED/REC Implementation & Data Support, Lahore (for Pakistani Nationals Only)


To provide support to the immunization Programme, Health section UNICEF Punjab office in the implementation of RED/REC initiative in seven districts of the South Punjab by consolidation & maintenance of data, its analysis and reporting on regular basis.

Purpose of the Assignment:

To provide support to the immunization Programme, Health section UNICEF Punjab office in the implementation of RED/REC initiative in seven districts of the South Punjab by consolidation & maintenance of data, its analysis and reporting on regular basis.

To make a difference, you will be accountable for the following tasks and deliverables:

Task to be Performed

  1. Gather & consolidate gender segregated data, analyze, and generate reports on monthly basis. Prepare presentations on the basis of data analysis .
  2. Organize 02 Performance Reviews meetings at provincial level and 10 district reviews in all the 7 districts, collect data & compile reports.
  3. Undertake trainings & orientation of the vaccinators & EPI staff on RED micro planning, Data collection tools, supervisory tools in all the 7 RED  districts by visiting the districts at least once every month. Revise & update the tools on the basis of field observations 


D1: 10 compiled reports of gender segregated data with detailed analysis

D2:  10 district review reports.

D3:  2 Provincial RED Review reports


  • Training reports
  • 10 visit reports.

Start date:    May 15, 2017.           

End date:  Mar 15, 2018 (10 months, full time)

Official Travel Involved: Local tRAVEL


Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Sociology and/or other social sciences. Master’s degree will be an additional qualification and will be preferred

Work Experience:

6 years of work experience in the development projects in Public health setting and in field information management. Knowledge of Govt set up and experience of planning the health programme will be preferred.

Language Proficiency:

Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Urdu and local language(s) of the province is essential.

An action-oriented approach and strong drive for results.

Highly developed negotiation and communication coordination skills.

High tolerance for operating in an environment characterized by uncertainty and ambiguity and working with people, showing respect to their views and contributions.
