Organizational Setting

 
The IAEA Environment Laboratories consists of four laboratories, three of which are located in Monaco and one in Seibersdorf. The Division implements the IAEA Environment Programme and operates in a complex matrix environment with inputs from many parts of the organization, such as the Department of Technical Cooperation for the implementation of projects, and also collaborates with other Departments.


Main Purpose

 

In order to identify candidates for short-term assignments in Monaco, the Division of Human Resources maintains a roster of qualified applicants. If you are interested and fulfil the requirements to work within the area of ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, please complete and submit an online application.

 

 

Education, Experience and Language Skills

  • Completed secondary education.
  • Minimum of two to five years of relevant working experience providing administrative support.
  • IT skills (MS Word, Excel etc.); knowledge of specific IT tools may be required.
  • Organizing skills\: Ability to prioritize work assignments, organize own schedule, perform routine work independently, meet deadlines, adapt to constantly changing demands and multitask. Ability to manage a heavy workload under time pressure.
  • Focus on quality\: Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge of procedures and administrative guidelines in an international organization an asset.
  • English language test (level 2) and typing test (level 2) to IAEA standard.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of another official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish), in particular French an asset.

Remuneration

The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free net base salary. Remuneration level will be determined by the grade of the short-term assignment.

Applications should be submitted by 26 May 2017, but will be reviewed as received to meet immediate needs.

 


 
Registration into the Pipeline does not constitute in any form a commitment on the part of the IAEA for taking a particular application into consideration in the recruitment process for any vacancy. Pipeline registration is only valid for two years. Candidates need to re-register again after two years of initial date of registration to be considered as an active pipeline applicant.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory medical report. Recruitment will be on a LOCAL BASIS only. Outside applicants are required to supply to the IAEA or to authorize it to seek all information relevant to their suitability for employment by the IAEA. Testing may be part of the recruitment process.
