Job description

  • Take part in the design, implementation and M&E of the Accelerated Learning Program, Education in Emergency, and technical components of the projects.
  • Provide overall support to all activities related to Accelerated Learning Program, School Improvement Plan.
  • Capacity building of NRC staff in Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) related issues as needed.
  • Coordinate the trainings with PED and relevant DED head.
  • Provide support to the School Improvement Plan activities.
  • Take the leadership on class expansion and properly monitor the work progress.
  • Plan activities according the set timetable and ensure that all staff members are aware of the responsibilities.
  • Coordinate education project activities with PED, DED, UN, NGO and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitating and distributing Kits, Books, Stationaries and Disposables…
  • Monitoring the implementation, progress of SIP, ALP and distributions, suggesting required actions for better implementation of project and reporting findings on time.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on time.
  • Ensuring accountable database for Education project according to all the components of project, regular update of date collection and maintaining proper filling system.
  • Support Education TL/PM in the implementation of Components of the project
  • Coordinate with HR/Finance on the recruitments, contracts, payments of ALP activities.
  • Coordinate with logistic for the development and update of Procurement Plan.
  • Community mobilization: engaging the community in activities, establishing School shuras and in facilitating the community understanding of the overall project objective.
  • Participate in relevant meetings.
  • Ensure PED staff is involved in all the events and the monitoring process of the project.
  • Adapt NRC project implementation practices according to the MoE CBE policy and protocols.
  • Any other task as assigned by Education Team Leader/ Project Manager/ Area Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Diploma in Education, Management and Development fields -required
  • Should have 3-5 years working experience related to Job.
  • Respect the NRC roles, regulation & Principles.
  • Ability to priorities & handle multiple tasks on time.
  • Previous working experience with NGOs and expatriates is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the local languages of Dari, Uzbek and Pashto.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
