Job description

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  • Ensure proper filing of documents
  • Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action
  • Assess Education officer for proper filing of documents
  • Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
  • Assess Education officer for day to day follow of progress in project implementation
  • Liaison and collaborate with relevant local authorities and stakeholders
  • Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy
  • Provide support in the overall implementation of ALP, SIP and Education Project.
  • Follow up and support ECE ALP teachers.
  • Data collection and record of all information related to learners, teachers, attendance, exam marks etc in ALP activities.
  • Data entry and data base keeping.
  • Organize and support training facilitation
  • Community mobilization and awareness
  • Preparation of administrative and logistic documents
  • Individual follow up and interviews with learners and graduates.
  • Organization and facilitation of focus group discussion with learners and community
  • Provide on the field support to ALP, SIP for Education Officer.
  • Any other task as assigned by Education team leader.

Qualifications

  • University degree/ Diploma within Education / Management/ Development or other related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience with humanitarian program in the fields of ALP, SIP and Education.
  • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Knowledge of the local language Dari, Uzbek, Pashto
