Position Summary:

The Programme Coordinator for the “Action for Girls and Young Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Mozambique” will be based in Nampula city, Nampula Province, with frequent travel to Zambezia province, working under the overall guidance of the Representative and direct supervision of the National Programme Analyst in charge of ‘Action for Girls and Young Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Mozambique’ Program. A close and effective collaboration and coordination with DPY (Youth Provincial Directorate), DPS (Health Provincial Directorate) and NGOs, as implementing partners is expected during programme implementation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in social development, public health and/or other related social science field.

Knowledge and Experience:
Seven years of professional experience preferably in managing programs/projects in the public or private sector in developing countries.
Experience in working with government institutions, NGOs and/or UN.
Experience working in sexual and reproductive health preferably.
Computer skills (Microsoft Office applications).

Language skills: Fluency in Portuguese and in English, both spoken and written.
