Job description

  • The purpose of a Supervisor/ Community liaison is to facilitate implementation of shelter WASH in assigned community and village in Kabul province and day today monitoring of project.
  • Provide in sequence general Information of the community and beneficiaries.
  • Active Participation in beneficiary selection.
  • Registration and records of the IDPs (incoming out going) on CDC level
  • Be Informed on Implementation methodology, construction materials providing, cash amount as per Instalment as in total and participation in formation groups and knowing its Importance.
  • On a regular basis Provision of weekly reports.
  • Mobilization and cohesion of people & beneficiaries.
  • Daily monitoring from the progress according to the given plan.
  • Facilitate field visit of any visitor to the areas of concern.
  • Timely notice of changes, challenges and issues concerning.
  • Report the abuse of shelter material or any kind of corruption concerning the shelter project.
  • Facilitate the process of distribution of shelter material and ensure the receipt of cash instalments to the beneficiaries.
  • The community worker is responsible for timely completion of construction activities of shelter project in his /her concerned village(s)
  • Support other NRC /CCs activities in concerned villages.
  • Facilitate any conflict within the beneficiaries / community regarding shelter WASH activities with the support of project staff.
  • Attend to training whenever required.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in similar job or community mobilization.
  • Graduated from High school or higher.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian principles
  • Fluency in local languages (Dari and Pashtu both written and verbal, Pashto is a plus)
