Purpose of the Position

 

Sales and Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the supervisor, Fundraising Officer, in developing fundraising strategic plans and implementing fundraising activities to acquire new one-off and regular donors. Also work with the Officer to develop, implement and evaluate innovative new fundraising activities.

 
At least 1.4 million children are at imminent risk of death from severe acute malnutrition. UNICEF staff are working tirelessly. We need your help to be part of the team.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fundraising Officer to develop, implement and evaluate fundraising techniques for acquiring new one-off and regular donors.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing new fundraising strategies (specifically new acquisition techniques).
  • Assist in managing and briefing contractors, suppliers and relevant personnel within and/or outside the office on developing and implementing donor acquisition fundraising campaigns.
  • Using PSFR team resource, evaluate the performance of each fundraising activity.  Brief and scrutinize reports and present on expenditure and budget utilization.
  • Monitor and report on progress against the work plan and targets.
  • Provide administrative support to the Fundraising Officer.

 

 

 Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • Completion of secondary/vocational education with additional training in a relevant field. University degree in related field, i.e. Marketing, Communication, preferred.
  • Six years of relevant experience in the field of supporting sales/marketing and/or fundraising combined with some administrative work experience. Hands-on experience in database management and campaign or account management, are strong assets.
  • Good organizational and communications (oral and written) skills and attention to detail.
  • Service-minded with good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Tact, discretion, self-starter and good judgment.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of computer applications.
  • Knowledge of campaign management processes.
  • Knowledge of supplier management and effective briefing.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai.
