The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors.
The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs
Job description
Implement NRC’s systems and procedures at WB and Country Office.Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and requirements
Prepare and submit Security incidents, IT Assets, reports and analysis
Ensure proper filing of all support documents
Ensure all IT SOPs are drafted.
Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
Provide anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g.IT procurement, asset management)
Improce IT procurement process to increase efficiency
Assist in Asset management
Ensure efficient monitoring of inventory
Agresso focal Point
Ensure an acceptable Data & Document management regime is in place in line with existing technical Capacity, Global Policies,needs and ambition level at CO.
Promote innovation & advancement of ICT in NRC through participation/Leadership in pilots at CO level.
Assist in establishing & Technically manage ICT infrastructure in line with CO needs & ambition level( e.g bandwidth as a resource, WLAN)
Provide Security Induction to all new employees & visitors.
Keep informed & updated on security & access related issues in WB & provide weekly security update to line manager.
Monitor & report NRC relevant incidents in WB
Establish working contacts with local stakeholders related to security management.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in ITWorking experience in ICT & security in Huminatrian Organizations or companies.
Good level of English
Knowledge of the context in Palestine
Knowledge of the local language
Good knowledge of Security and IT concepts and challenges/solutions within the field
Good knowledge of Networking, IT troubleshooting, Software and Hardware maintenance
