Driver

 

We are looking for a highly qualified Driver in order to facilitate the staff movements to do outreaching for households and reach the far districts also to  do a part of  Logistics tasks under the direct supervision of the Logistics Officer in East Amman  .

 

 

DRC is an international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. With the vision that no displaced person must be in want of help to find protection and durable solutions, DRC provides assistance and protection to conflict-affected in many of the major conflicts in Asia, Africa and Middle East. The assistance can consist of relief and other humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and support to returning home, and the promotion of durable solutions. 

 

 

Driver will be responsible to facilitate the staff movements to do outreaching for households and reach the far districts also to do a part of Logistics tasks under the direct supervision of the Logistics Officer. 

 

 

 

·         Drive organization vehicles from 8:30 am until  04:30 pm and must not drive under the influence of alcohol. 

·         Maintain the company vehicles and ensure that any problems associated with the vehicles are immediately reported to the  Logistics Officer. 

·         Maintain organization vehicle logs. 

·         Check and key track of water, oil and other vehicle levels daily. 

·         Ensure the organization vehicle is clean and presentable. 

·         Purches office supplies, pay office bills and/or any other logistic task requested by the Logistics Officer.  

 

Required qualifications:  

 

4 years of professional driving experience 2-3 years of work experience; 

 

 

 

 

Worked with any NGO operating in Jordan before.

DRC will offer the successful applicant a three months contract  , renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work on August 2017 and be willing and able to work in East Amman -Jordan.
