Nutrition Specialist - (Ethiopian Natioanls Only)

To develop/ modify training module and guide for BFHI in Ethiopian context and provide the first TOT for the HWs with the same module.

Purpose of the Assignment:

To develop/ modify training module and guide for BFHI in Ethiopian context and provide the first TOT for the HWs with the same module.

Assignment Tasks:

  • Design and development of BFHI training module
  • Design and development of BFHI guideline
  • Support provision of one TOT at national level with the module

Expected Deliverables:

  • Full package of training manual of the BFHI.
  • Guideline  for BFHI implementation.

    • First draft for both the document  July 25, 2017
    • Second draft with comment incorporated 1 August, 2017
    • Final draft August 15, 2017
    • National level TOT August 27 – 28, 2017

Qualifications of Successful Candidate:


  • Advanced university degree (MD, MSc,) Health / Nutrition.

Years of relevant experience:

  • Minimum five years of work experience in the field of nutrition developing and designing nutrition programs/material development.
  • Solid technical knowledge AMIYCN
  • Demonstrated experience with programme design, development and implementation, monitoring and evaluation
