Job description

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Assist a range of support with the implementation of the CC portfolio according to plan of action
  • Implements independently procedures and activities within own function or core competency as delegated
  • Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the specialist area of work in which technical assistance and support is being provided, in order to be most effective in supporting the team
  • Use initiative in day to day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  • Ensure proper filing of documents
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement in your area of expertise
  • Responsible for: assessment; project planning, implementation and monitoring
  • Participate in field missions.
  • Remain updated on technical and legal considerations (national lows, standards and codes)
  • Participate in NRC staff seminars and training, when scheduled.
  • Liaise and work closely with governmental and non-governmental organizations to create and maintain a network of organizations to which IDPs can be referred.
  • Produce reports on daily, weekly and monthly base as well as on required base.
  • Distribute toolkits and hygiene kits to targeted beneficiaries.
  • Plan distribution of cash for shelter construction to the targeted beneficiaries
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. (Shelter team leader)

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Law and political Science & Shareya Law -required
  • 1-2 years working experience related to Job.
  • Honesty, Diplomacy, self-confidence and good capacity to listen others.
  • Respect the NRC roles, regulation & Principles.
  • Ability to priorities & handle multiple tasks on time.
  • Previous working experience with NGOs and expatriates is an advantage;
  • Experience in ICLA (Information counseling and legal assistance) and Legal issues.
