The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for displaced populations. NRC started operation in the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2012. We deliver humanitarian assistance in 4 provinces in the sectors of Education, Food Security and livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Shelter construction, as well as Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance (ICLA).

1. Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
2. Implement delegated support function portfolio according to plan of action
3. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
4. Ensure proper filing of documents
5. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
Specific responsibilities:
1. Control cash and bank balances
2. Check and process posting in accounting software on a daily basis
3. Follow up professional advances
4. Contribute to the monthly closure of accounts
5. Ensure proper filing of required supporting documentation
6. Liaison with Bank and other financial entities in relations with NRC activities in Kerman
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in an NGO (national or international) or UN
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Solid knowledge of computer software and modern accounting systems
• Proven knowledge and skills related to Finance in the Iran context and Iranian laws
• Fluency in English and Persian, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
