We are looking for a highly qualified a candidates to fill the position of Logistics Officer in Azraq Refugee Camp.  
 
 
 
Who are we? 
DRC is an international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. With the vision that no displaced person must be in want of help to find protection and durable solutions, DRC provides assistance and protection to conflict-affected in many of the major conflicts in Asia, Africa and Middle East. The assistance can consist of relief and other humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and support to returning home, and the promotion of durable solutions. 
 
 
 
About the job 
DRC is currently seeking a qualified individual to handle the logistics of its projects in Azraq camp. This position requires daily commute between the head office in Amman and the project office in Azraq refugee camp. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
 
• Manage all logistic needs for DRC’s activities in Azraq camp  
• Manage all procurement processes in accordance with DRC policies and procedures, in a transparent, accountable, efficient and cost effective manner; 
• Ensure that all procurements are tracked and recorded appropriately to ensure accountability to the donor; 
• Manage Azraq drivers and coordinate fleet management to ensure that vehicles are insured, assets are managed correctly, being driven safely, maintained appropriately, damages are reported, and ensure that vehicles internal equipment are complete and serviceable; and that usage of fuel is correctly supervised, and recorded. Ensure that camp vehicles are available in line with the program schedule.  
• Coordinate the procurement process with the Senior Logistics Officer and logistics team in Amman as needed and ensure all logistics needs are delivered in a timely manner.   
• Maintain accurate filing systems, with documented and supported records of action for audit purposes, and submit logistics reports upon request.  
• Coordinate closely with the program staff on logistics needs and complete order requests for procurement as needed. Deliver all ORs to the Project Manager and Finance Assistant for authorization.  
• Collecting quotations for all supplies 
• Procurement and installation of office equipment and supplies in the camp 
• Responsible for refiling water and gas cylinders 
 
 
About you
 
To be successful in this role you must have:  
 
Required qualifications:  
• At least one year working experience in International non governmental organizations 
• Prior experience in logistics work  
• Basic ability to work with computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) 
• Good working knowledge of English and fluency in Arabic 
 
 
 
Moreover it is expected to have: 
 
Desired experience:  
• Prior experience working in refugee camps in Jordan

We offer 
 
DRC will offer the successful applicant a three months as probation period, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start on August 2017 and be willing and able to work in Azraq -Jordan.
