This post is responsible for managing and growing corporate fundraising income and CSR partnerships. This includes proactively identifying prospects and developing relationships to create long-term, innovative and successful corporate partnerships.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Leads and implements corporate fundraising strategy and achieves annual targets: Develops partnerships with the private sector, delivers income targets and achieves sustained, long term growth across corporate income streams.
  • Builds pipeline of new corporate partners: Leads in planning and cultivating these partnerships. Builds strong personal and organizational relationships with decision makers, high-level and key influencers in companies and CSR networks. Maintains these relationships, partnerships and networks to maximize success and create new funding opportunities. 
  • Stewardship of existing corporate supporter relationships: Maximizes opportunities to grow financial and non-financial support on a long-term basis.
  • Develops concept notes and fundraising proposals: In consultation with the programme teams, develops concept notes, fundraising proposal, briefings and applications for consideration by corporates.
  • Cultivation and stewardship: Produces reports on fund utilization and impact of donation. Develops engagement / PR activities, such as field visits, special events and the like.
  • Manages the successful implementation of entry level giving program: Builds the “Star for Children” initiative and promotes with SME’s.
  • Promotes Cause Related Marketing (CRM) and customer fundraising: Works closely with the individual giving team to secure business assets to increase income from individual donors, e.g. access to customers, staff and CRM products.
  • Ensure business partners align with UNICEF core values and brand requirements.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.

 

To qualify as a champion for every child you will have…

  • Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing and

       Communication or a related field.

** A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. **

  • Two to five years of professional work experience in corporate partnerships, corporate engagement, new business development, corporate fundraising or public relations activities.
  • Thai Nationals only.
  • Experience in an international organization desirable, familiarity with UN systems is a plus.
  • High language proficiency in both Thai and English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and especially in word processing and spreadsheets is a must.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas.
  • Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
  • Good analytical, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and a track record of success.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in an international multicultural environment.
